Description
Anti-Herpes is a product containing L-lysine – an amino acid necessary for cats, one that has a number of important functions in their bodies.
L-lysine, either directly or as a component of many biologically active compounds, affects the bone structure, the nervous system, the circulato-ry system, cellular aging processes, and the immune system. Increased lysine concentrations interfere with herpesvirus replication, may reduce the severity of infection symptoms, and may reduce FHV-1 virus shedding.
Because L-lysine is involved in so many processes in the cat’s body, L-lysine deficiency may manifest non-specifically (anaemia, moulting, immunosuppression). The consequence of L-lysine deficiency in the diet is, among others, muscle atrophy or disruption of protein biosynthesis
USAGE:
Recommended amount of the product to be given with the animal feed:
- Adult cats – 1 flat scoop twice daily.
- Kittens – ½ flat scoop twice daily.
It is recommended to mix product with kibble, wet feed or water. One package is enough for a months’ use for an adult cat and two months for a kitten.
