Description

NefroActiv is an innovative combination of three active ingredients: lanthanum carbonate, Lespedeza capitata extract and chitosan in appropriate proportions.

The flavonoids in Lespedeza capitata extract are angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors – they stimulate the kidney parenchyma, increase diuresis and reduce blood urea levels without disturbing electrolyte balance.

Lanthanum carbonate is used as a phosphate binder in cases of high blood phosphate levels which are seen during renal failure.

Chitosan is a polymer of D-glucosamine that reduces phosphorus absorption during renal impairment.

USAGE:
Recommended daily amount of the product to be given with the animal feed is 1 capsule for every 5 kg of its body weight.

The product is in the form of openable capsules. It is recommended to mix product with kibble, wet feed or water. Recommended daily amount
can be divided into a couple of smaller portions during the day. Consultation with your veterinarian is recommended before use.
