Description

FLORActiv is a combination of nutrients whose synergistic effects support proper nutrition of enterocytes, their regeneration, and restoration or
maintenance of adequate microflora in the gastrointestinal tract. Furthermore, the product boosts the immune system and protects against oxidative stress during illness.

L-glutamine – an endogenous amino acid, a primary source of energy for enterocytes. During illness ensures fast regeneration of the gastrointestinal tract re-storing its functionality. Stimulates the synthesis of IgA (local immunity) and the production of B and T lymphocytes (general immunity). Maximum absorption and utilization of glutamine by the epithelial cells takes place within a few hours of damage. This amino acid promotes the absorption and utilization of  glucose and sodium ions from the intestinal lumen.

Inulin – a prebiotic, soluble dietary fibre, boasts a stimulating effect on the growth of beneficial intestinal microflora, stimulates the proliferation of Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium. Acid metabolites of beneficial microflora reduce the growth of potentially pathogenic bacteria.

Oligofructose – soluble dietary fibre, beneficial for intestinal microflora and the digestive tract. Effectively stimulates protection of the body against the development of pathogenic bacteria, while promoting the proliferation of beneficial bacteria of the Bifidobacterium spp. Oligofructose, by its ability to bind water, promotes a sense of satiety.

Vitamin A – essential for the growth and regeneration of gastrointestinal cells, boosts immunity by its involvement in the maturation and differentiation of immune cells, i.e. monocytes, lymphocytes and neutrophils. Its deficiency significantly undermines the phagocytic activity of macrophages.

Green tea extract (Epigallocatechin Gallate) – has very strong antioxidant properties. By increasing the number of T cells boosts the immune system.

Zinc (in the form of amino acid chelate) – boosts the immune system and accelerates the regeneration of the gastrointestinal epithelium. Stimulates immunity which is crucial for patients suffering from gastrointestinal disorders.

USAGE:

Recommended daily amount of the product to be given with the animal feed according to its body weight:

• for every 15 kg – 1 small flat scoop
• for every 30 kg – 1 large flat scoop

For smaller animals the portion can be divided proportionally to their weight. It is
recommended to mix product with kibble, wet feed or water.
