CitroActiv B6

Description

Citroactiv B6 is a product supporting reduction of the formation of oxalate- calcium stones and ensuring optimal levels of magnesium and potassium in the blood.

Potassium and magnesium-potassium citrates contained in the product act as inhibitors of the process of crystallization and formation of oxalate stones. Potassium citrate administered orally binds calcium and forms water-soluble calcium citrate. Additionally, a mild urinary alkalinization occurs, which supports the solubility of calcium oxalate. Another active component of the preparation is vitamin B6 (pyridoxine), the possible deficiency of which in the body leads to increased endogenous production of oxalic acid. Vitamin B6 contained in the product has a function of counteracting possible deficiency of this vitamin and ensuring prevention of oxalate lithiasis

USAGE:
Recommended amount of the product to be given with the animal feed according to its body weight:

• Rodents – ½ capsule every 12 hours
• Small animals up to 10 kg – 1 capsule every 12 hours
• Medium dogs 10-25 kg – 2 capsules every 12 hours
• Large dogs over 25 kg – 3 capsules every 12 hours

Product is in the form of openable capsules. It is recommended to mix product with kibble, wet feed or water. Recommended amount can be divided into a couple of smaller portions. It is advised to regularly exam animal’s urine.

Make sure the water for the animal is available at all times.
